Oakland, CA based emcee and Lunar Heights member Jern Eye returns with his latest single “Power” featuring Vex Davortex from the long revered Hip-Hop group Boogiemonsters (Riders of the Storm: The Underwater Album, 1994.) “Power” came as a result of Jern Eye reflecting on his path to self-empowerment, while becoming a Hip-Hop artist. Fittingly, he reached out to Vex Davortex from one of the most influential Hip-Hop groups of the 90′s to help relay this message, and help clear the air about the truth and dilusions of power. The track, produced by the Oakland based production duo G Koop & O Man, comes off with Jern Eye and Vex sounding as if they’ve been trading verses together for years.
