Mr. Lif – The Fringes (Unreleased) (Single)

Mr. Lif – The Fringes (Unreleased) (Single)

This song titled “The Fringes” was one of the original drafts of the song that came to be titled “Success” on the “I Phantom” album. Until now, the only way to hear this song was on the my live album titled “Live At the Middle East” released in 2001. Insight and I crafted this song the night before the show and decided to debut it during the recorded performance. The song caught on with my die hard fans, and for years people have asked me if there is a studio recording of this song in addition to the live version. I am happy to be able to finally say a definitive “yes”.

The Bad Seed – Caviar (Single)

The Bad Seed – Caviar (Single)

For those of you you are not familiar with him, Brooklyn MC Bad Seed has had minor success in underground Hip Hop since the 90’s. Being a part of the O.B.S. crew with Jean Grae and Pumpkin Head is where he got his start in the late 90’s. After disbanding he went solo and made a buzz from working with super producer Nottz dropping the smash singles “For The kids” and “Uhhnnhh” (which made it on Funk Flex’s “The Mixtape Vol VI” album). Today Seed plans to release his final album “Coreyography” in 2015 and to start things off he drops the Dr No produced Caviar.
