DotGotIt.com & Kwest Present: Joell Ortiz – Yaowa The Remixes (Mixtape)

Repost. This is a project that we did with the multi-talented Kwest Simmons. It dropped around the end of last year shortly before the revamp, and relaunch of DotGotIt.com. In the near future we will be dropping the instrumentals, giving aspiring MCs a chance to show what they can do with them. Also coming soon our Big L remix project with Kwest ‘Put Ya L’s Up The Remixes’, which I’m very excited about. Stay tuned.

Royce Da 5’9″ – Shake This (Prod DJ Premier) (Video/Single)

Circa 2008. This past weekend was pretty hectic for me, and this was the theme song. It’s actually one of my favorites from Royce’s catalog. One of the things that I like most about this one is the fact that if you didn’t know it was a Preemo beat, than you wouldn’t be able to tell just from listening to it. Most of Premier’s fans can tell a beat of his as soon as they hear it, but that’s not the case with this one.
